A beautiful Psalm of David…Lead me in the way everlasting

Posted in Christianity on November 8, 2009 by entasimanjuntak

This morning I was reading Psalm 139, a psalm of King David. When I read it, I could feel a very deep relationship between him and God…he said:

O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. (Psalm 139: 1-5) Read more »

Running Well in My Christian Life??

Posted in Christianity on October 27, 2009 by entasimanjuntak

Three days ago I and a friend had a walk to Coogee beach close to my place. It was in the afternoon almost evening…”I am not going to bring anything, only wallet and mobile” I told my friend. Just want to let you know, I am a person who always brings so many things whenever and wherever I go…a bottle of water and an umbrella are two things very important to me besides wallet and mobile of course…but at that time I refused to bring any of these because I thought it would be too heavy to be carried with while I am doing walking…Only for walking, I already refused to bring things…how if I do running? I might not even take coins I guess. Well, I rarely have running or jogging anyway…Don’t ask why, you know the answer… Read more »

If only I know how important the prayer is for my spiritual health

Posted in Christianity on October 20, 2009 by entasimanjuntak

I love reading Psalm. It describes the characters of God so detail. For me, it’s like love songs and letters to God. It contains lots of emotions and feelings; longing for the justice of God to come, happiness and thanksgivings because what God has done, disappointment ending up with thanksgivings… so rich of feelings…But overall, it describes how great God is…how too little the problem we face is for Him… Read more »

The most important thing for the kids

Posted in Family on August 22, 2009 by entasimanjuntak

I was born in a big family, seven of us! Five of my brothers and sisters are married and have at least one kid. So now, I have seven nephews and nieces all together (this number seems still increasing…). Each kid has different attitude, but one thing for sure, they do not really know what they need. They rely so much on their parents’ choices, typical kids! So, parents need to be wise in giving the kids anything…Further, kids are quick to learn the new things, some of them are innovators, but most of them are imitators; so, the parents need to behave in front of the kids.
